How do you go about and how much does it cost to get approval to be authorized to use water for pressure cleaning in Nsw.?

Something like a sticker that must be displayed in your car like on the window.I've seen a few plumbers and pressure cleaning setups with this orange sticker.

There used to be the stickers during the water restrictions, but not sure if they are still sending them out, and it was free to get an exemption. There used to be a form you fill out and then send in to them explaining the reasons you needed it-work, and that the restrictions are effecting you financially.

It seems Sydney Water have eased off on the Orange permit, just after they lifted the restrictions I asked them about individual homeowners who I noticed had started buying Karchers etc and doing their own driveway. Sydney water response was that it was OK for individuals to do their own pressure cleaning without a permit.

You need a license/exemption from Sydney Water to pressure clean hard surfaces. Easy to apply. I got one years ago.
