Seen a movie give us your thoughts might save someone spending there hard earned on a dud.

Just came back from taking the Missus to see Crazy,Stupid,Love not bad, very funny in parts the wife loved it so i'm in the good books. I'd give it 3 and a half stars. The potato wedges i had during the movie i'd give them a 4 and a half star rating d'lish. And the scotch and coke gets a 5 star rating keep up the good work Johnnie.

I found "Warrior" a great movie. "Rocky" type but better, and a bit more emotion involved when you watch it.

Short answer is no,well not often anyway. Just recently watched "The Fighter",a good movie based on real life. My fall back when there is nothing on is The Godfather I & II.

Haaa clasic!! he has those big black eyes perfect for that part... I saw an episode of Get Smart the other day I have never seen OMG it was funny 99 was in trouble and max wanted to go after her to help her as they were going to be maried soon so he asked the chief in the cone of silence, that didnt work so they used the card file system, the chief gave in. Apparently Danni D is a friend of Mike's and was just drafted in for the show. She's never there any other time and is actually a burlesque dancer and fashion designer, so I've read.

Mike and Frank are a bit dorky but I love seeing what they unearth on their trips. I love going to garage sales and clearing sales myself but have never struck it rich yet. Getting harder and harder to find a bargain these days.

I know its not a movie and I think someone else may have said something about this before but went and saw "war horse" on stage in melbourne this afternoon. Only the 2nd stage play I have been to and it was awesome. I've never actually seen the movie so there was no expectations but will have to watch the movie now. If anyone goes to see it in melbourne try and get tickets on the far right hand side of all the seating. I was the second seat in from the right about half way down and they use this isle quite a few times during the play including running one of the "horses" along there. They are huge and amazing to see up close.

I have seen Argo and Django Unchained recently, both fantastic films. Django is typical Tarantino filled with blood and guts, comedy and suspense.

Grown ups 2, liked the first one the second not so much, 2 stars out of 5.

Can anyone think of a gardening based rating system for our movie reviews? Rather than the usual boring 5 star stuff we need something relative to what we do.

Bit of fun so maybe we can come up with 5 plant names and give the star rating like that. Some rubbish plant at 1 and something spectacular at 5. Any ideas?

Probably fitting for a Sandler movie, at least the old ones anyway.

Caught the Lego movie the other week, thought it would have been better than it was but it was still enjoyable. Graphics were fantastic.

Just watched avengers age of ultron yesterday.
Full on graphics of course. bit more on the realistic side... As usual... good movie.
I had to laugh at the last scene tho.
Where Thor takes off up in the air and ironman looks at the grass he burnt. and says "that man has no respect for lawn care"

Fast and Furious 7, i would have to say i was disappointed. I love the series and i was really looking forward to this one but i came away disappointed. It was still watchable, still ok, but i guess with it being Paul Walkers last one i was expecting it to be good, real good. They went away from the car action a bit and went more along the old Arnie movie sort of plot, action, lots of over the top action, stunts where you just know in real life it ain't going to work, i felt they didn't need to go that far to make it good, but anyway it's still worth seeing just wasn't as good as i had thought it would have been.

I did like the tribute to Paul Walker at the end though, that was a nice touch and very well done.

Transformers - Age of Extinction, wow what an action movie. I only caught this on Blu Ray admittedly on a decent home theatre set up though and it blew me away. Graphics are superb, action happens at just the right time. One of the first Blu Rays with the new dolby atmos sound. If you get a chance hear an atmos system. Just changes the game for home theatre sound. Awesome!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. The family loved it and thought it was great. I felt it was a bit of a let down, compared to the others.
