I injured my eye today. I bent down to look at something and smashed my eye into the end of a branch on an apricot tree. It hurt a bit but I was half way through a full day clean up job and just had to push through. My wife convinced me to go to the docs after work and he said that I had just grazed it and had some bruising and will send me to the specialist tomorrow. When I got home I was convinced there was something under my eyelid, and after a bit of persistence I squeezed out a small round dried something, such relief. Will let you all know the outcome.423342344235

Mate tell us how u go at the specialist, good luck !:)
This bring back memories as a panel beater I was always at the specialist and medical centre with metal in my eyes, that part of the job I don't miss..

How is your vision at the moment??

A bit blurred Greenie, it's been weeping and really watery as well. I have just put a sterile patch over it as well as the ointment.

I scored a tiny spec in the eye from whippersnipping an edge not too long ago. Most bits work their way out but this spec was hanging around. Went to the docs the next day and he eventually put some dye in the eye and under a bright light found said object and removed it. Jeez Growcutmow it musta felt like a boulder in the eye as the tiny spec i had was pretty painful.

And where were ya safety glasses

Ha Ha, I took them off to get a closer look.

Back from specialist and all is good. Bruised (badly), no scratches, and it should clear up in a couple of days.
The infection has all but disappeared after I removed the chunk of tree from under my eyelid.

Thanks all for your caring support
