I'm currently using the trial "Keep it easy" and finding it ok. Is there any program that is able to sync its calendar with an android phone, or are all limited to manual input or into a diary?

cheers

Try this.... Tradies App for Android

Includes mini apps for site diary/calendar, ordering, invoicing and quoting. It's not free...$27 for the latest version but they do have a starter version which is free and you can then buy the mini apps to add on as you want.

How are you going with Keep It Easy Leon?

I recently purchased it too but haven't even finished entering my client details into it yet.

gmail calender is pretty good for scheduling if that's what you're after. Syncs really nicely with the phone. I tried it for a bit. But as with all pc scheduling software it's a bit of a pain when you have rain days and have to reschedule. I still much prefer the diary that I carry around. I just write all my jobs in it as I get them. The night before I write numbers next to each job to organise my run. If a job gets done it gets a tick. If not it gets a line through it and put on another page. Then when I can be bothered I enter all the details in my accounting software.

Cheers folks,

Tradie app for android is flash, but a bit of overkill for what I need.

Think I'll just carry on using the old fashioned diary, plus the calendar on the phone, then enter into Keep it Easy when done.

We also use KIE software.

All our invoicing is onsite (this way we can change alot of details with minimal fuss). If we do get a call to the office all their details are entered on the office PC and then via VPN is transfered to the pc in the car while we are mowing and vice versa. If we have a time change while out, we change all info in the car and it gets sent back to the office and updates KIE with a few clicks.

The only real mistake we made was choosing a laser printer and then finding out how much power they actually draw

Nice set-up. What's your battery and inverter set-up like? Do you run it off the main battery or have an auxilliary?

Did look at the aux battery but there was no room for it...so I just run a 2000w inverter off the main battery. Comes in real handy when i go camping too
