I have noticed that the laws in the USA are quite strict for overgrown lawns...

Does anyone know if we have similar laws here in Australia? (but just not enforced often?) I've seen some extreme Ferals in Sydney that haven't been touched in probably a few years!

You have a urge to force your way into someone’s house to tell them off Simmo?

We do during the fire danger season. Many councils issue orders to overgrown blocks and yards.

the council does enforce it but its a slow process if the tenant is stubborn.i did one for a client for $500 for 6 hours work.it took court action threats by the council to wake him up.but i dont mind...

i have a few clients in the foothills in adelaide. they get given a date that their blocks need to be slashed by from their council. we always slash the blocks just before that date.

If you’re doing a comparison between the USA footage and here for South Australia then there is no law to enforce the grass to be cut.Never has been.
