Went to Henty's Machinery Field Day today which is one mother of an event in size and product diversity displayed.

http://www.hmfd.com.au

Picked up one of these Karchers for occasional business client use and cleaning of business equipment at the cheap price Field Days price of $520. Normal price is $799 in my town.
Whilst spending more would have got a higher end product, as a petrol engined unit it is entry level. But I do say this one runs rings around my older electric Karcher K3 series 1700PSI one as I have given petrol unit a run when I got home.

i got one of those after getting a 4wd and the small electric one didnt cut it

I bought mine at supercheap on a 20% off weekend

I saw them at bunnings the otherday which they didnt sell them when i bought mine originally

so if bunnings carry the same one then anyone that wants to buy one should go to bunnings when supercheap
is having their sale and save the extra 10% over supercheaps 20% off

Yep, "Toy of the Century".

Under the mowers is now back to bare aluminium and the brick letter box has never been cleaner.
I've a bucket load of triple bricked retainer walls up around the pool area that is excavated into the hill side. It also has very large spinnaker sun sales criss crossing above which are also totally filthy.
This little beast is guna be fun.

Seriously it's so much easier not having to get extension leeds and connect power, whilst far more powerful than the electric ones.
If you can get one cheap as Johnnie5 has shown - get one as you won't regret having it.

Make sure you install a water filter on it cause the fine minerals will slowly destroy your pressure pump.

Hey red eye if you have a pressure cleaner with 2500 -4000 psi, Its a goer.... Its great quality I got mine from the usa on the ebay link supplied no problems...
My cleaner is the same as above the honda karcher at 2500 psi it is great on light to medium soiled concrete, cuts time in half over just a wand, but needs a double run on the heavly soiled stuff,
I use a bio degreaser on the tuff stuff it works a treat
@ 3500psi it would be a pig in mud..!!
And you can use it on walls too..

Thanks St George.
Manual says it has a cleanable filter built in,reckon it must be quite small. I do have the larger Karcher water filter from the old electric unit. Will fit it via short flexible patch hose.

3850, now that's a mean weapon.
I was offered the more commercial entry model at 3000psi with a better Honda engine for $900. But I'll settle happily with what I got.

Just got the local All Tools catalogue and the Karcher I got is featured for $599. So Karcher must be dealing with retailers as spring kicks in. The dedicated Karcher sales display people at Henty's Machinery Field Days did tell me things were as flat as they could be re sales and economy. Though it was strange for them to waffle that info to me. But if there sharpenning the pencil on price, that good for us.

Love this Petrol Karcher. Have two jobs booked for it over the next two weeks. Can't spare the time to do both in one week, as one is a sizeable job.
Just by mentioning that I had one to select customers and its kinda fun to use too. - Great
