GARDEN SHREDDER CHIPPER MULCHER DELUXE 13 hp Petrol B/N
I would like to buy a chipper shredder and while looking on ebay I saw this chipper shredder for sale. I bought a cheap chainsaw from this place and it has been ok for the price.
I wonder if anyone owns one of these and can tell me what they're like.
Will appreciate advice on other alternatives. My budget would be about $1000.00.
thanks in advance oscar.

I've got 2 chipper/shredders, without a doubt the biggest waste of money I ever spent - they wouldn't be used more than once every 18 months - I think you'd need a tow behind a truck model to be economically viable (after you paid off the bugger)

You need to spend at least 5k to get one that is just ok.
Better off sucking up to a tree lopper and get them to mulch for you.

if it is it does look better than most of the ones on ebay and he could pick it so no freight costs but saying this if you look at the photos it turned the big pile of green waste into mulch in only 3-4 hours i would rather pay the tip fees and save the 3-4 hours which i could spend doing paid work and earn 3-4 times as much as the tip fees

Sounds like its not worth the effort. I've got a job near the place where they sell them so I might go and check it out. The reason why I haven't bought one yet is because of the reasons posted. Time consuming and another piece of equipment to maintain and purchase.

all those 13hp ones are toys, definitely not commercially viable - save your money

The hansa c13 isn't a toy, it does the job without spending the BIG bucks.
