The last update i did was 6.0 when you could access the camera from the lock screen. I wait for a good reason to update. I hate how they do a couple of bug fixes, create more bugs and change the icons. Im a creature of habit and i like my icons to stay the same.
BTW What do people think of the new icons. I think they have gone backwards.
Imoww, I would check on the net. There are sites where you can download older versions of just about anything. You should be able to find version 6 somewhere.

Im glad Im not the only one! Cal just sucks now! I used the "List" feature ALL THE TIME and now its gone! Not happy but I'll give that Epim a go as that seems to just have a list. But, it has its limitations as well.
What I would like to see (on Cal) is the List view and the ability to check jobs off like a Reminder.
Ahhhhh, frickin Apple strikes again. Should of known better but would of had to download 7 at some stage.

Liked it at first, hate it now. I think my battery dies a bit faster in my Ipad2 with the IO7 update as well.

I tried that Epim app, wasnt a fan. Have purchased Fantastical to try out. Not cheap (considering) at $5.50 but it looks pretty good and relatively quick n easy to use.

This has some tips for those finding your battery life sucks since updating to IOS7. (We always wait a month before updating our i-device operating systems. Gives them a chance to identify and rectify the bugs with apps etc).

what a bugger, imoww.
i just read this:
If you updated to iOS 7 from iOS 6, and are now suffering from motion sickness or acute day-glowitis, I have bad news: You can no longer downgrade from iOS 7 to iOS 6. You’re stuck. This is partly for security reasons, but mostly because it’s simply part of the Apple experience: By buying an iPhone or iPad, you implicitly sign away your rights and privileges so that everyone can coexist in blissful unfragmented harmony in Apple’s sandbox.
Whenever Apple releases a new version of iOS, there is a grace period — usually of a few days — where you can revert back to the previous version. There are also ways to downgrade if you happen to have an iPhone 4, which was the last iPhone to be properly and irrevocably jailbroken by hackers. If you have an iPhone 4S, 5, or 5S, however, where Apple’s low-level security mechanisms are still in tact, there’s no way to revert back to iOS 6 once you’ve installed iOS 7 and the grace period has passed. (See: How to install iOS 7 on your iDevice (http://www.extremetech.com/computing/166657-how-to-upgrade-to-ios-7-on-your-iphone-4s-iphone-5-ipad-and-ipad-mini).)

From what I can make out, its something to do with 3G and 4G conflicts. Its huge problem from what I read. I thought it was only on Optus network though????
Can you turn off 4G on the phone?

I turn 4g off on mine, it saves a heap of battery life, if you are on the fringe of 4g networks

I read the other day its called LTE.
Just googled and found this… http://www.gottabemobile.com/2012/09/21/how-to-turn-off-4g-lte-on-the-iphone-5/

Edit, I have no idea if it will fix the issue but its worth a shot!

Thanks Mick.
Just spoke to Telstra also.
iPhones dont have the capability for 4g but are connected to it causing issues. The phone is constantly searching for the 4g network and settle for the 3G. But takes time therefore the dropouts.
Parentally you can turn 4G or 3G off in the settings. But for most iPhones, there isnt an option. ( except for iphone5).

Bugger the Iphones. Telstra said you would have to get a mobile thats compatible for 4g. Samsung, HTC, Motorola. Mainly anything not Apple.

I really dont know mate. I have a 4s with up to date ios7 and other than not liking it, I dont have problems with that it.
I only became interested as my daughter has a 5s and thought I might have answers if she gets an issue. She hasnt said anything yet.

But yeah, from what Ive read its when going from a 4g to a 3g, the phone tries to re connect to 4g but gets hung up when theres no 4g there. Keeps searching but fails to reconnect to 4g. Something like that anyway????

A lot of unhappy campers out there. Optus and Apple are pointing the fingers at each other but Optus have admitted they changed something but it was supposed to of been resolved by now!

I hope you get it sorted anyway! Id find it pretty hard to go back to a non iphone myself but if its not working, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

I can see a class action against whom ever caused these dramas. There are a lot of people pizzed off people out there!
