Haven't tried it personally but i know some footballers who wear them for pre-season work during summer. Been told they help keep your body temp from getting too hot but can feel restrictive for some types of work. Seem to be getting better all the time, be worth checking out some new products. Sorry i couldn't be of more help.

I posted it under OH&S I think. Will try to find it. About to buy one myself after a friend here bought one and a hat. He says it's great and really helps prevent getting so fatigued in the heat.

Would have loved to have had a chill vest or 2 today, 45.1 today, one customer mentioned I might kill myself if I continued cutting her lawn today, (I was obviously looking good) I thanked her for her concern and advised at 63 I probably would, but let her know that her lawn was the last one I was going to mow for the day. Fortunately I survived for another 45 degree day tomorrow and 46 the next. I guess some days life is not supposed to be easy. Us silly lawnies just have to pace ourselves and be very careful.

I have been wearing cooling sleeves which can protect your arms from sunburn and have a cooling effect.Something like what the bicycle riders have on their arms but thinner.Highly recommended product, comes in varying colours.Cheap to purchase.
