I dont know whether this is the right category but anyway
i have a customer who planted Screen master hedge. Now the hedges got white things on the branches and getting less and less leaves or branches.
I m sure this is a kind of disease. need advice to cure it
thanks
White Aphids ??
Google White Aphids look and if so get some White oil from bunnings or Big W and spray
The oil will suffocate the little buggers

Hi Simo, scale is usually easily controlled with white oil, they breathe through their skin & the white oil suffocates them.
Aphids are a little more difficult to control & it depends on your beliefs wether you go organic or inorganic.
Organic, soapy water, garlic spray & water blasting are favourable.
Inorganic, Malation or Rogor are 2 favoured chemical methods.
Mealybug & white aphids are not the same.
Cheers Fred.

Confidor is usually great for sucking guests being a systemic insecticide. Sounds like scale btw. Check for ants.
