Need some help, doing some irrigation repairs today and the shovel went through a water pipe. The pipe is black on the outside white on the inside and is not rigid, but it is a lot thicker than polytube, any ideas on how to fix this, plumber didn't show :(

hedge trimmer went through a copper water pipe before and bought a repair clamp thing from reece for about $25 - not sure if that's the most cost effective way for irrigation repairs though7795

You're gunna need a joiner/repair kit anyhow so off to the local plumbing supply who will best advise you.
It sure has a thick wall, you must be a Brute:p
If its similar to pvc, you may have to replace a section to cover hairline cracks.
Cheers Fred.

Is it reticulation system? If your lucky you might just need a small fitting.

Bunnings have compression fittings, just take a sample of the pipe and get a few, slide on-tighten-job done- not for hot water use but do work on hot water pipes,
