Hi all,

Just wanted to ask about using products like the Briggs & Stratton Pump Saver for those of us who only use our pressure washers occasionally? Is it needed?

I bought one of the locally assembled Renegade brand units from Trade Tools - does a fantastic job! I asked the guy at the store, he said he's never heard of pumps seizing/needing a pump saver or lube type product. From what I'd read it's the alloy impeller units that are more prone to it, the more expensive ones have ceramic, titanium parts or something like that??

Anyway I'll be using this on and off for the next month or so, but then it will be parked in the garage until the next job comes along...

I know that some here have been using these machines for a long time, and this is the first washer I've ever owned so I'd really appreciate any tips!

Cheers
