I don't use one, but have a couple of jobs where I think it would be ideal, didn't know you could get one.

Will be interested to see if anyone is, and what their comments are.

Even Better 95.00 Tax Deductable lol

Deeper stonger and with the curved interior deflection plate faster

Thanks To Simon and Indy Mowing

I have one on my honda mower it is not an indy one though, I find that over rough & uneven ground that it falls out alot :dean: , it has two grooves that fit into the wheels axles and the flap push down on it with it's springs, otherwise its good.

Sound like all it needs to come off is a bit of a bump ay. The flap would only have to lift slightly and the hooks around the wheel axles would act as a hinge...if you know what I mean. I have the Honda side discharge one on my 196 and as in the pics it hooks over on the bar running thru the top hinged end of the flap. Go over a bump and the bottom may lift a bees ball but not come off. Anyhoo.....bet you could make a couple of hooks for the flap you got and hook it over in the same place as the honda one and cut the bottom ones off. Should see you thru till you get a Honda anyway :D

I use mine a lot on my 216, i mow in an anti-clockwise direction, it throws all the clippings towards the centre.
When it starts throwing clippings where you've already mowed, that's when i put the catcher on and clean up the strip thats left.
A lot less clippings to take away, and cleaner than mulching

i used my rover yesterday with the side discharge on , like you said Cadase anti-clockwise direction , then put the catcher on. looked good and was quicker than mulching :wave-hi:
