Hi all. Is there such a thing as a sprinkler hole trimmer that can be used to trim the lawn perfectly around a sprinkler? If so, where can they be purchased?

Here's a trick my ole Dad used on his own lawns when the sprinkler system was installed...now bear in mind he wasn't a lawnie so you may not think it too practical....
He got a piece of round galvanised pipe with a diameter sufficient so that the sprinkler head fitted exactly inside it and long enough to come up to appoximately waist height when standing on one end. He drilled 2 holes near one end and inserted a rod through the holes to be used as a handle (think something resembling a post hole digger).
He'd put the one end over the sprinker head, give it a quick push and a twist (not too deep) and it would cut through the grass in a perfect circle. When he thought it wasn't sharp enough he'd hone the edge with a file. He could do an average sized lawn full of sprinkler heads in about 5 minutes.

You can get a tool similar to that described by Joanne from Bunnings.
It's a T handle type arrangement with a serated cutting edge on the bottom that is set to keep the area around sprinkler heads as tidy as you like.
Somewhere in the range of $30 to $40 from memory.
Cheers ;)
