Australia's world champion motorcycle racer Casey Stoner has a new piece of machinery on his farm near Tamworth - a Toyota Huski skid-steer loader.

Stoner's machine is a 39 kW Toyota Huski 4SDK8 - Toyota's biggest-selling model in Australia.

He took delivery at his property, with Toyota Material Handling Beresfield branch manager Peter Wilson handing over the machine.

TMHA's general manager for sales and marketing, Steve Takacs, said the whole company was delighted to have Casey Stoner not only using but also representing the company's Huski skid-steer loader products.

"Casey is an outstanding ambassador for Australian sport, and Toyota Material Handling Australia looks forward to a successful partnership with him," Mr Takacs said.

Stoner, 22, is the second youngest champion in the 59-year history of motorcycling's Grand Prix premier class.

He won 10 of the 18 Grand Prix races in the 2007 world MotoGP championship, sealing the crown with three races to spare.

The Huski 4SDK8 is Australia's most popular skid-steer in the 501-650kg segment.

Toyota achieved a national market share of 45.4 per cent for this model in the calendar year 2007, according to industry statistician Equipment Research Group.

The 39kW 4SDK8 is one of the most powerful skid-steer loaders in its class.

It has high levels of safety, durability, operator comfort, ease of operation and serviceability.

Standard features include heavy duty chassis and boom arm construction, a small tail swing for better manoeuvrability, a tilt-up cabin for easy maintenance and the best ground clearance in the class.

Key productivity features of the Toyota Huski 4SDK8 include its power and lifting capacity - a 650kg safe operating load (with standard bucket).
