I often look at garage sales for old hand tools, rakes, spades, forks etc. The old stuff seems to last longer than a lot of todays commercially produced stuff.
Renewing older hand tools has become a bit of a hobby... i scored an old push/pull hoe a couple of months ago for $0.50 cents. Spent $10 on a new handle and a coat of paint and have used it almost daily.
Anyone else pick up good tools at garage sales ? :wave-hi:
