The cheapest I can find. I figure by the time the motor is stuffed, the rest of what ever equipment it's driving is pretty tired and ready for replacement.

Just started trying some Echo oil to see if it's any different.
Too many fouled spark arrestors lately from bad oil burn.
I may try the amsoil next odin...............

I use Stihl which is made by Castrol Australia, just check the label to see who makes it.

Odin,

I know with most of the Stihl products here in Australia are the same models that are destined for the US. My BG 85 blower had some screen in the muffler as you mentioned that clogged with oil or something and the Local Stihl people removed the mesh/screen stating it was only in there because of a US requirement.

Never had a problem with it since it was running real rough and gutless before they removed it.

One of the first things I do to any 2-stroke equipment when I get it is bin the spark arrestor. Yep.........U.S and Europe require them. I'ts there to stop Sparks from comming out of the exaust and starting fires.

Iam using Penrite 2 Stroke TS40C getting 20L for about $150.00 inc GST . Which works out well per litre compared to a 4 or 5 litre.

AMSOIL products are imported and distributed in Queensland by Alpha Lubrication. Please contact Ross Lawson at Alpha Lubrication directly for information regarding products, prices, availability, etc. Ross can be contacted via phone at 7-5448-5953 or by fax at 7-5448-5943.More info http://www.amsoil.com./ . I've read 100's of reviews on AMSOIL and everyone raves about it. I espesialy like the the way trucks are putting in an extra oil filter and getting hundreds of thousands of miles out of their oil. Synthetic oil is the way to go.
