Hey there,

If there is more oil in a mixture then required. Does this do harm or just make things a little smokier than usual?

On the flipside. If an engine required 25:1 and was using 50:1 is there potential for major damage if used over a long period of time?

To much oil in your 2 stroke and you will end up with carbon deposits, choking your exhaust , fouling the spark plug , and building up in the compression chamber resulting in machine failure. Not enough oil and yes long term the engine will seize..Best use the amount recomended by the product

We love our Opti2, we use it on all our 2/stroke machines & have done 4 more than 5years now.Its mixed at 100/1 :frightene thats right 100/1 & emitts very little to no smoke at all with hardly any carbon build up . We rarely have to clean out an exhaust port :) .
Try it , you wont look back.
Cheers Dean.

Never heard of Opti2 (and Opti4) until I read this topic.
Seems like magic oil, the way it restructures the surfaces of the moving parts but it sounds like it works according to Dean's usage. Now, to find a supplier near me.
