My Cox's Briggs & S is really starting to p*ss me off. It is 10 years old so I suppose I can't complain but why does it have to happen now, not middle of winter. Can get one on ebay for $850 delivered (13hp) which seems pretty damn cheap, so I hope they're not dodgy!! I love Cox ride-ons so a new machine is not an option (couldn't afford one anyway) so repowering seems the only option.

Cox are normally worth spending the money on so I'd say go for it. If you want the engine to really last and if you're using it commercially I would definately suggest to spend a bit more and go for a Kawasaki or Honda. It would be worth it in the long run.

Fixed the problem, carby choke wasn't coming off (spring missing) completely, can't believe how sick it ran. Modified some springs to replace the missing one(s), its running better than ever. These carbs are a lot more drama than your run of the mill victa types ;)
