This sunburst tree caught my eye while I was having lunch at a commercial site in the north east suburbs recently. Obviously done by their gardening contractor.

Looks like someone has used an electric hedger and has no idea what its maximum capability is.

Who said money doesn't grow on trees if you can get away with cuts like that. :)

could be the work of a chainsaw?

Maybe, but I don't think so. you could see where the hedger blades had bounced along the branches before cutting them.

Who's to say it even was a contractor that did it. Might have been the property owner themselves.

Everything has a price.....including crap jobs. Maybe...if he/she is a contractor....there was a budget on the job............($1.50 maybe...lol)
