In town a major metal/rural supplier advertised in the Saturday paper that they are having a one day sale on Thursday the 23rd June.
Two items of interest to me being,
Glyposate 450 Roundup 20Ltr at $70
Castrol bar/chain oil 4ltr $20.

But the big one is the weedkiller, damn good price.

Whoop's not $70 , but $75.
Being 450 concentrate. Think I'll get two at opening time before any farmers get in.

All tools at 20% off, but there not the cheapest in town to start with.

Also they have got yellow f/glass handled axe and splitter, going for $30 a pair - (out of picture frame image).

LWH, I will ask them prior to the event when I cruise past.

I bought 20L of 540 glyphosate this morning of $88 without shopping around.
Also in the shop was 1L(360g/l) for $22, and 5L(360g/l) for $55.

NLALM,

I've a drill press in my shed, but no way as good as the listed one.
I'm a bit frightend to take plastic to the Sale Day. I'm hopeless when it comes to restraining myself for anything required in the shed. But I have everything now in there including air con for the cricket telecast in summer, but I know something will tickle my fancy other than Glyphosate.

LWH, NLALM - it say's "Cash and Carry"

Full advert uploaded and contact info.

That Hitachi twin pack is over priced by about $70 although interestingly the hammer drill is about right.

Got there at 7.30am and bought two 20l Glyphosate 450's and two safety glasses at $4.95ea.
Rep's from ag gear, horse gear, sidchrome/kinchrome to hitachi, industrial high tech machines, castrol, sprayers, safety gear, etc, etc were there offering deals. Bulk dog food was on offer, blundstones too. I could keep going on. Pressure cleaners too.

Hitachi 18V Lithdrill/drivers and or including Hammer at $249, They was the complete range of hitachi going out at Bunnings prices for crap gear. Those sidchrome spanners at $75 with anti slip heads nearly got purchased, but I have spanners whilst not as good one, had to exercise self control. Especially with smack all income this week along with today due to rain and really wet conditions today although the rain has stopped 2hrs ago.
There multi page catalogue instore was impressive. I feel like going back as I'm a tool man and have a workshop/shed at home. Must tear up the catalogue I have to decrease that temptation.
There was a petrol powered horizontal TWM log splitter on a tow behind trailer complete with LED trailer lights and pump up tyres at $1299 catalogue. One guy was getting serious in talk and the rep offerred it cheaper. I've a small electric splitter and I would have loveeed that 30tonne job.
Glad I'm not a Farmer as I would be hopeless if let loose in a place like that.
