Hi All, can anyone give me the going rates for QLD Country towns, is there any rules or do I just feel around and see what's happening.

Hi cookie, IMHO there is no such thing as a going rate.
You'll need to test the waters & quote according to your circumstances.
On this forum most seem to quote between $40-$80/Hr although Ive seen more & less.
It can be hard starting out. u'll need to be competitive, but if u start too low it will be difficult to raise your prices to rectify, if u get it wrong.
Its very disspiriting, working your butt off 4 peanuts!

Well said Fred. Getting your finger on the pulse for what is acceptable in your area is the hardest part of this job. It is trial and error and something you continually have to work on i reckon.
