    Re: Best mower 2020??

I spoke to Victa and found out that whilst it's not on their website it's still available - the product code is 2691600. If there's none at dealers they can still order it in as there's about 20 left...

    Re: Best mower 2020??

The link I originally posted to the Victa 21" Commercial (RRP $1499) now goes to a product called "Victa Professional Dummy' with no picture and a price of $1299. It has a cutting width of 22". It's...

Looking at getting this one ....

Just don't know if it has a mulching blade-disc underneath...
  5. Re: Toro Timemaster and other twin blade mowers

Thanks guys. Thought it might be something like that. Would be pretty messy if something happened to that timing system and they hit each other though.

    Thanks Ed.

27mm is not low enough for me and my mostly couch grass clients.

    Re: Best mower 2020??

I've heard good things about the HUSQVARNA LB 548S & 553S.

Videos below show it's superior mulching abilities. Basically makes branches disappear.

  8. Toro Timemaster and other twin blade mowers

Interested in hearing people's experiences with these wider twin blade mowers.

One thing I'd like to know is how they don't leave a thin uncut strip between the blades on each pass.

Thanks for that. Is there a minimum amount you need to pay to make such an arrangement qualify?

Straight shaft edger attachment on Kombi for me. I find it much more maneuverable and quicker around curves and corners than the 3 wheel edger I used to use. Takes up less floor space in the trailer...

    Re: Stihl battery power

Saw the current price of the Stihl HTA 85 pole pruner today $799. FMD. I paid $599 for one in March 2017. Surely the Aussie dollar hasn't depreciated that much. The design hasn't changed either as...

Don't know where you read that. I've had a Stihl FSA 90 since 2016. Never needed any servicing or parts at all.

Minimum cutting height is 38mm. Too high for most of my commercial clients. Most of them like it cut short.

Been doing that for quite a while actually. Well not with a hacksaw blade, my tool of choice is the humble steaknife.
