So your saying you haven't used them then?
The original blades that come fitted to a new mower do give the best cut, and at 6 bucks a pair with bolts aren't particularly expensive.
Or you could just buy genuine rover blades and get a perfect cut.
They are bloody easy to use takes about an hour to be comfortable using one if you haven't used one before.
Just take things slowly and don't do zero turns on nice lawn.
That's a pretty common place to put a mower.
400 kg would be a comfortable weight to have there on a big trailer.
54" fits most of the smaller machines.
Just by a QUALITY new trimmer, you should have a return of tens of thousands over the course of its life.
Why buy junk or second hand?
Forget about catching at that size, a mulch kit might be good enough.
Did you give her a foot rub as well?
The less contact you have the less money you will make.
You need to spend at least 5k to get one that is just ok.
Better off sucking up to a tree lopper and get them to mulch for you.
Too thick cord
That's one of the most sensible things I've seen on this forum Simmo.
Anyone that doesn't follow that advice must enjoy being broke.
Yeah, that's just crazy to think people actually charge around $100 an hour and get it all day everyday, and their customers are willing to pay.
Everyone should only be charging $20 an hour like...
When people say they don't want a franchise what they really mean is
I can't afford a pro but you sound cheap
:)
As long as the blades are sharp it always cuts grass cleanly. It will need a few passes over really long grass when your slashing cos the blades are up inside the deck not level with the bottom. It...
Great machine leaves a fantastic cut on nice lawns, but clumps up a bit on thick wet lawns.
Sounds like pinhole leak in fuel line
I agree with Geoff on using wool packs. But find chaff bags a pain. I usually carry at least 10 spare packs, fill the ute till it's level with the sides ( tarp underneath) then wool packs on top. If...
Wow even though I said 10 would cover the basics somehow you got that I said everyone should spend what I did. That is pretty clever.
I think you could even get a loan from centre link for that sort...
While my comments may not be very diplomatic, they are my honest opinion.
I would not intentionally encourage someone to spend that sort of money if I didn't think it would be their best option.
Simmo why wouldn't you?
If you really wanted to start out cheap you could do everything with a scyth and a broom like they do in Asia, but how many customers would you get?
10 k is nothing, and...
The cord might do but You will take much longer with an overweight machine and be tired or sore at the end of the day.
Would you rather spend triple the time using a crappy little bower (or having...
Realistically I think $10k would just cover the basics not including a trailer or vehicle. Also spending that amount will get you better pricing from your dealer.
If you don't have the cash get a...
I call bull dust on you guys that are saying its ok to buy cheap stuff when your starting out. Are you starting a business or a hobby?
Why would you risk buying anything that's not commercial grade...
You need a license for any type of weed killer, pretty sure that would include salt.
