    it would of been the valve.. mine was replaced free of charge by the dealer(also got a free service as they did it without permission) expect it to flog out again though :(

    You can reduce the damage by thinking out how your turning/where your going. and even having a few mats to lay down where the damage is going to be done.

    There is a guy on http://www.treeworld.info/ (aus arbourist site for the ones that dont know of it) who supplies a fair few saws to Australians for a small fee.
