    Re: Recreational off road vehicles

My preference is an older ute. We mounted a 600L quick spray unit on the back of an older 4x4. Plenty of spray for a full day spot spray or a couple of paddocks with the boom spray mounted

    Re: Recreational off road vehicles

I've used the Kawasaki Mule 610 4x4. Good machine will climb hills all day and is a basic unit.

I wouldn't use it for weed spraying. The payload is to small so in my opinion the spray tank would...

    Re: John Deere z920m MOD

Early models had some issues with the MOD switching under the deck. Getting caught open or shut, I think it was in the mechanism under the deck but that was in early days of MOD technology.

Re: Building site prep for new turf.

I'd be getting in a small excavator to rip 5cm at the very least then topsoil and turf.

Make sure you get it service located. I know seems like a waste of time but in more cases than not I've had...

    Re: registration for ride ons??

Do you mow nature strips with your ride on?

Ours are all conditionally registered but all it really is is a way for the rms to give you CTP green slip insurance. It's part of the registration fee...

    Re: Body Corporate late payment

I don't believe you will loose good commercial, strata or real estate client by being honest about how you require them to pay bills.

We have these conversations before and during the signing of...

    Re: Body Corporate late payment

I find the first statement interesting "they decided", and then you go on to say sometimes they are late due to other contractor bills. To be blunt you need to start calling the shots not them they...
  9. Re: Is it worth offering pressure cleaning services?

My advice is this, either do it and commit to the service or don't do it.

It's a significant capital outlay to set up a pressure washing rig and not something you should blindly take on without...

    Re: 2 schools of thought.

Sounds about right. Add to that a lawn aeration and fert application just coming out of winter and and its a good mix of healthy root systems and good top cover.

Forgive me but I don't understand...

    Re: irrigation problem

Ok not an ideal setup but a fixable one.

    Short of fixing the entire system properly I would;

    1) disconnect the PVC and install a back flow to the tap head.

    2) install a manifold 1 for the...

    Re: Website help

You need to provide helpful useful content.

Reducing your pages is not a good long term strategy and you will loose your ranking quickly.

I'd also look at the way you have your serviced...

    Re: Real Estate Residential Work

From what you are saying you have already done the job? If that's the case can I suggest that it isn't a good idea to go into a job without a price agreement or at least a schedule of rates in place....

Why don't you make this "looses loose" situation into a "win win". You can easily do some quick education and get the bin working correctly. This should be an easy process considering she wants to...

    If I'm honest I don't get it.

I looked at the link you provided on a mobile device and these are my notes looking as a person with no history of the product ( above post )

    Re: Hot composting

Might pay to find your local tree crew. They are always looking for somewhere to dump a load. If it's more than you can use in the compost pile you can always sell it to a job

    Re: Hot composting

We compost all the green waste that is produced through jobs. We have a slightly bigger compost pile that yourself ( 4m wide x 10m long x 3m high) we turn once a week and add water at the same time. ...

    Re: Snapped draw bar

Might pay to have the entire trailer strengthened. I know it's a costly exercise but if the cheaped out on the "A" frame then the rest is probably similar.

    Re: Snapped draw bar

Looking at the pictures I'd suggest the mower rack on the front isn't standard equipment. It just doesn't look to scale with the rest of the trailer. Usually you would expect to see a wider and...

Re: Dual axle and tyre wear.

I still have 3 original Tyers from when we bought the trailer 6 years ago. The 4 was torn open on a buried culvert.

We are running 2-3 tonne each day and average 300km a week with the trailer.
