    My 07 BT50 has just hit 165000.
    Still got about 40% on pads and 70% on shoes
    Got a bit annoyed when I had to put tyres on it at 120000 😋

    Wouldn't say it aerated.
    On a straight run it barely leaves a mark. It's only on tight turns that it rips the grass a bit.
    Remember tho we are talking paddock grass, not lawn!

    The more you stretch the higher the revs. Try to give it a carefull stretch say 10mm longer on the free length, refit and see what you think. (You may find it idles higher too after you up the peak...

    Easy to up the revs on the victa. Flick off the governor cover on the side of the carb and give the outer spring a bit of a stretch. Doesn't need to be much to up the revs quite a bit. Still won't...

    Is it a older side valve?
    If so, whip the head off, scrape off excess carbon from piston and head. Clean up with light emery and whack head back on.
    New head gasket preferable but not absolutely...

    TIG will weld it. Or try a metal conduit clip and self tappers if you don't want to pay to get it welded

    Do you have an earth cable running through the plug?
    Have seen some that rely on the tow bar/coupling to earth the trailer which can be a bit hit and miss.
    Definitely worth checking the piggy back...

    Check the earth.Doesn't matter what type of globe, they wont work properlyy if the earth is loose/corroded.
