    All jokes aside here, the plate and screws/wiring needs to knit and adhere to the bone, otherwise it'll end up like a 2mm screw in a 8 mm hole and get infected.

    Good, take it easy, fractured distal radius thing, I had 2 both arms and elbow fracture, in 2011, plates n pins galore, it does get better with physio tho, at least you can wipe your backside!!! :)
