    Hi Steveo, pretty much what the Edge said.
    I bought my BT50 in 2016 because it was about 8g cheaper than the Ranger which allowed me to set it up better for 4wdriving at the same cost.

    Hi Ed, I have both & they suit different applications.
    If most of your work is above 2-3m then the 85 is the go.
    The 65 is more suited to the stuff under that, being smaller & lighter.

    You could try cutting the poly with a hacksaw blade.
    A little cutting then a little prying with a screwdriver should see it pop out.

    I couldn't be happier with our local Stihl shop.
    Ace saw service Braeside.
    They have been there forever(over 50yrs) & are super knowledgable & friendly.
    They even have they're own chainsaw museum...
