Jim Stynes....
Champion footy player... & Champion Bloke..... He will be missed...
Just think .... how much does a new hedge cost ?????
Just incorporate your lanolin maintenance cost into your price/quote....
Use the good stuff and look after your equipment & customers... ...
yeah i think they are belt drive.... lighter than Honda.... thought of getting one... but an extra $200 or so for the Honda...with blade brake & rear chute for ferals.... and the Honda is very good...
All i can say is i had a 215 Honda sp lasted 10 years and just traded a 3 year 216 for a new one and happy with the new one.
Best to have a look and try a few different mowers out and pick one...
What he said.... :)
Thats spot on Ian.... Thats the way i do it too....
yeah mate..i have the Echo hand held with the bag...will pick up twigs... but better with the lighter stuff.... they are handy to have.... now all i need is a ride-on :)
G'day Leon,
I have an Echo blow-vac and have it set up just has a vac. I use it around pools, on windy days with leaves and hedge trimmings etc.. it does come in handy on those type of jobs...I...
you can get a permit from the water board... it doesn't cost anything... just get it on the net... thats in Sydney.
I would think Vic would be the same...
Yeah Boys.... i have a 216 and have 4 high lifts on .... i mulch and catch both wet and dry... if you have thick long grass and wet just go in slow speed and give a bit more overlap & you'll be ok.. ...
yes nice work .... & good luck Greenie.. :)
you could get a used walker or a new husky or whatever..... costing from $5,000 to $10,000
some dealers are doing specials this time of year..... my local has a new 42' walker GHS multideck for...
yeah... give a price for regular cut.. 2 weeks in summer.... guess what ..4 weeks or longer... and chase up money....Ferals.. bugger...
no more....;dealers;
i had the same problem... now just use high lift blades... i think the spring washer loses its spring.
The 4 high blades are good on wet and long grass with the catcher ... and still does a good job...
if you can bag your green waste and load it to front of trailer or down one side...
then just put up with that untill you can get a ute or bigger trailer or both...
If your only part time the 6x4...
mate.. i have a 216 and very happy with it. :)
The other point with Honda gear is the anti vibration and not has loud.
I have two stroke gear also... but if you are mainly doing regular lawns the honda 425 is fine...
I have a Tanaka ext...
yeah Greenie...
I do this on some jobs... it just depends on the customer, quality of job etc...
if it still looks good.... then thats the main thing......
especially pitas that stretch you out 4...
That sounds like a good one mate...
beats mowin over dog poo in the summer...
