    Re: Broken sprinkler riser/nipple removal

Been doing that for quite a while actually. Well not with a hacksaw blade, my tool of choice is the humble steaknife.

    Broken sprinkler riser/nipple removal

Having noticed it getting harder to remove broken poly fittings out of PVC pipe lately I laid blame on my 5 year old riser removal tool (assumed it was worn down) and bought a new one. Only type I...

    Re: Psychotic customers

Referring back to the OP I'd say the guy was just a bit pent up about you looking after a property adjoining his, keeping it looking great while his continued to look like crap. I would have...

    Re: Totally electric commercial contractor

Seems less than my experience. Maybe that's full throttle and with the boost button pressed in. I find that I use full throttle about 80 percent of the time and FT with boost about 15 per cent of the...

Dry weight without fuel) of EB803 is 11.4kg. Fully fueled it's 13.4 kg (2L of fuel weighs 2kg).

You runtime for the blower with the 4ah battery is wrong. that battery powers a 1200W mower for...

    Re: Totally electric commercial contractor

Weight wise it's very light (5 kg), almost toy like it's so light. An EB803 is well over double the weight before you add fuel (11.4 kg).

I use the 4 ah 82V battery which is 2.5kg bringing the...

    Re: Totally electric commercial contractor

I was just going to use it for bigger jobs. Today I used it for every job. Looks like the handheld has become a backup. If it was a 12 Kg BR-800 it would just come out for big jobs.

    Hi Fred.

Here's a copy of a review I posted on ProductReview.

    Re: Totally electric commercial contractor

Just bought one of the recently released Victa 82V backpack blowers yesterday and bought a 4 ah battery as well. 1000W, 580 CFM & 234 km/h is plenty enough for me. I already had the handheld 82V...

Can't do that. It's the first major branch (about 5 inches thick) of a Peppermint tree.

Wearing a peaked cap which restricts your vision above eye level and consequently walking into a tree branch while mowing around it, banging my head. What's worse? Doing it again because I forgot the...

    Re: Stihl battery power

About 35 minutes on an AP 300 battery. I have several. For me the biggest advantage of the FSA 90 over the FSA 85 is the bullbar handle over the d-loop. Much prefer that setup. Just looked at runtime...

    Re: Stihl battery power

In the first sentence of his post he says he's bought a Stihl battery powered hedge trimmer (HSA 86). I'd agree with you to steer clear of the old model Stihl whipper (FSA 85) but I have the much...

Serous blade speed there. 4400 on low and 5000 on high. Great for fine precise work.

Platform ladder + pole saw. Allows me to reach most dead fronds and fruiting bodies. If I was doing that sort of work and tree work in general more regularly, I'd invest in a trailer mounted cherry...
