    Re: MAKITA RBC2510 help

From memory just take the cover off the air filter, take filter off, then there should be 2 10mm bolts holding the filter box and carby on. Just pull it all apart and spray with a carby cleaner. Not...

    Re: MAKITA RBC2510 help

    Hi stevo
Pulle the fuel hose out and remove or replace the filter at the end. Otherwise remove and clean the carby. Had similar issues with mine and that seemed to fix it
    Thanks mike

    Re: Stihl FS94 V Stihl FS85

The biggest differance for me is the fuel consumption. I can only get 45 mins of constant use from the fs 85 but can get over 75 mins out of the fs 94 ( the tank on the 94 is 100ml bigger though) ...

    Re: MAKITA RBC2510 help

Dunno how they would compare vibe wise. I have never used the 21cc. I don't find the vibration bad at all on the 25 but that's just me. I think it would be fine to use.

    Re: MAKITA RBC2510 help

Yes they take the same attachments. I've never used the smaller 21cc so I don't know about power. I think it would be fine for general edging and what not. Would probably have to drop down a trimmer...

    Re: MAKITA RBC2510 help

Overall length is about 1770mm just google rbc2510 specs its all there. I'm about 6ft tall and it fits me fine. I did move the loop handle about an inch closer to the engine for a better fit. There...

    Re: MAKITA RBC2510 help

I got a bit over 2 years out of my last one and just replaced it with a new one. In those 2 years I've replaced 2 spark plugs and the fuel filter nothing else other than replace the original head...

Re: Dual axle and tyre wear.

    Hi Cam
I'm getting 12 months out of a set of tyres on mine, maybe more. Mine are only car tyres too not LT but I'm probably only doing 250 to 300ks a week and a total weight of probably 1t. A...

Re: Pro Cut 560 not propelling

The my 20in rover non sp can cut grass on the lowest setting as long as the ground is level. The height adjustment is a bit of a differant setup to the sp. they don't have the red bar across the back...

    Re: Stihl vs Shindaiwa

Bought a km130 a couple of months back, it's the 4 mix engine. Have got the hedger attachment and brushcutter attachment. No problems as yet starts first or second pull. Although when I bought mine...

Re: DIY Ride On Mulch Plug

Mudflap material is cheap or easy to find on the roadside. Probably won't last as long but it can be doubled up and attached the same way. Just an idea

    Re: Dedicated Mulching Mower

Steveo just changed from 4 high lift blades to 2 high and 2 low lift blades on a rover procut 50 and it made a big differance to the finish when mulching probably won't catch as well but haven't...
  14. Re: Which new Rover mower would you recommend from this lot

I got a rover procut 50 non sp paid $520 for it. Got the 910 engine on it with no throttle doesn't bother me any. Works well either mulching or catching. Is heavy I find, but I'd buy another.

    Re: trailer decisions

Tyre wear shouldn't really be an issue. The cost of a couple of secondhand ( or new )tyres is cheap for the added benefit of the extra weight you can carry. 15 in tyres and rims are much cheaper and...

Re: Blower recommendation, handheld or back back

Hey Steveo, can't help much with the Briggs engine but as for the hi wheeler I wouldn't recommend it
There is no cross bracing on the handle and to me it seemed weak. Just not up to contractor use....
