I feel very old when I see the new bikes of my youth are now classics

It is a 1999 Triumph Adventurer 900. Almost the same as a Thunderbird but with different rear, longer forks and lower seat position. It was built for the US market.

This is my brother's 2010 Bonneville. I rode it to Phillip Island a couple of months ago. Lucky I have two brothers with about six bikes between them.

    Stunning Bikes Phil,

My bother had one in his early days, Always remember his sores and red stains on the front leg from trying to kick start it.

If you have more pictures and of the bike beside it, don't be afraid to upload them.

My old Bike which was called the Flying Coke Can by the boys.

Top section photo is outside Coles New World at Bathurst stocking up on grog to take back up to the mountain when the GP used to be held there. Thats me in the dark brown daks leaning on the grog. We were waiting for the ute we brought to the GP. A ute that was only meant to get there, carry grog and not come home.

I was very close to ordering a Bonneville T100 as I wanted some good ol classic styling with my new bike. But my riding group and brother talked me out of it, as they ride BMW GS1200 and with their style of riding they reckoned I would be left behind on the 4 to 5 day Alpine rides so I got this. Bugger me and I still can't keep up with them, but they have too many cheating electronic gadgets and panniers to lower the carried weight.
So I went for a modern muscle bike half fairing 1980's look at a cheap as chips price.

    Cheers Garry

That picture looks as Good as if Zoo Magazine where to feature Jen Hawko in strings on their cover page.

Put that as my Desktop background and its as clear as, in detail, love the classic look.

It is a 2 stroke. Goes like the clappers. Both my brothers bought one back in the day. About 1972 I think.

Yep the smoker is in good nick and looks the goods, especially on my big desktop screen.

Re my Brother's Boneville from the mid-late 70's, He had it serviced by a trumpy dealer in Brunswick back then who is not trading now.
They forget to put oil back into the black beast and after he picked it up he needed to ride back to Torquay, it seized up as he was passing through Geelong. They struck a deal with the dealer after some major hassle and he rode of on a near new Honda CB 350F. Which did look smick back then being a inline 4.

So now when I get me Bandit serviced due to warranty or when I picked up my 4 new lawn mowers or me 4 stroke outboard you know what I personally check.
    Cheers Garry
