still got a chute that blocks when the dews on the grass or you mow longer than 2 inch grass?

imo the only thing wrong with the honda is the chute and how often they block up (like every bag almost)

a rover base with a cloth catcher, decent variable gearbox and a kawasaki 6hp would do me.

    I too found this video...
My old 216 has never idled properly since i bought it 2 years ago off some older guy.
Ill have a look at the valves and adjust them soon.
Yo Greenie (Steve) do you have a valve feeler gauge?
Maybe we can adjust all our Hondas at the same time??? Might get AJD involved too.

    Take the float bowl off.
Blow out main jet with compressed air
Make sure your tank is clean. Humid weather is a bugger for condensation in fuel cans
It only takes a few drops of water to make them surge like that and drain plug rarely gets it all out
    Paul,
I've had the same issue on occassions with my Honda engine, in my trailer tool box is a 500ml bottle of metho to solve water or condensation in fuel when it occurs.

Will also e-mail this PDF to you as it's not so clear after uploading.
    Cheers Garry

Funny this thread should pop up again as one of my Hondas has just started surging at idle again this week.
