    Default Ride On Catcher

I have a client that I mulch mow his block with my Ride On...it's approx 3/4 acre.

He doesn't like the finish especially when there are a lot of leaves laying on the lawn to mulch, often he will do his best to rake up all the litter prior to me mowing but not on every occasion.

Today he asked me about the catcher listed below and wondered if it might be a good option to consider?

I have no experience at all with these so I said I would ask around...has anyone here used one and whats your feedback, positive or negative?

    Cheers

have you tried mowing without the mulch option i.e. side-throwing in a clockwise direction? Gives a better finish as all the cuttings are thrown into the uncut grass, so you end up with a bit in the centre to collect or hit with a blower

Yes Redeye I certainly have and the end result is satisfactory...but my client asked about the catcher as an option so I'm just trying to get some feedback for him.

That would be a bit of a bummer carrying that around in the ute or trailer with you all day.

I have seen them before and thought about possibly buying one not for catching but more so for picking up rubbish after like the show or monster trucks etc. But that would be something in winter not all year round

My client was looking to purchase one of these catchers for me to use on his job if he found out that they were worth the investment...

The jury is still out to date as no-one here seems to have any experience with them?

Contact the seller and see if he has any happy customers that you can call/email to ask.
Looking at the feedback it seems to work ok. Being a mowing store they may have a video of it in action or check on utube.
