Default Toro SP Recycler Considering changing to 4 blades

    HI All
Have a Toro Recycler 22 Inch Single blade Slash and Gash SP and also Rover 4 blade B/S 18 inch Pushie
4 blades works a treat on the Rover and i am considering changing the slash and gash to a 4 blade base plate. I was wondering if any one has done this before and whether its a workable thing to do.
Toro wasnt my first choice but who can afford the best (Honda) when you are just starting
Hope this isnt a dumb quest as I like the Toro's SP and catchability and might just make it closer to the Hondas cleanliness in cutting.

Also has any one ever adjusted the rev limit on the throttle as I think it could do with just a few more revs for grunt.
    Cheers

If your not planning on putting a clutch on it its easy enough to do. As far as im aware just about all mower engines are interchangeable between different mower deck brands.
Ive done the conversion on a masport, victa and john deere,

When I used to use the Toro 21" Commercial SP, we use to put a Rover base with the 4 blades rather than using a bar Blade.

Definitely worked better for the catching.
