Well looks like we've pinned a weekend. The 21st or 22nd of April. Which day works better for everyone Saturday or Sunday?

    And where?

Another Saturday 21st preferred but can also do Sunday the 22nd.

TLL&G was keen on the 21st as well from memory....

Freds suggestion in regards to Braeside Park has merit, particulary the "Bring Your Rig" idea.

    Cheers

Ok, lets start to wind this up.
Although not official, it seemed April the 21st was about right.
Where? I suggested Braeside park if ppl were keen on bringing their rigs?
Might need to contact the park manager for permission though.
If ppl r keen on this idea, speak up as the 21st aint far away.
Braeside park was only a suggestion 4 this reason but a more central location may be possible???????????
I need some input. Please register your interest (not commitment) & thoughts on where?
Its been great in the past, lets make it happen again!
    Cheers Fred.

Dont know what happened to my partener in BBQ crime but we have'nt had any other suggestions or negative comments on the date/location so lets finalise it????
Braeside park, starting 12-12.30 April 21st.
I think that if we r to bring our rigs, we'll need at least 4 or more to make it worthwhile/interesting.
    Who's interested?
Also if we do go ahead with this,I think it would be advisable to contact the park ranger which should be done fairly quickly.
If little interest is shown, then just a reg BBQ will be the go.
Its been a family affair in the past, I think we should keep it that way.
Now its up to you guys to support a great day with your peers.
    What say u all????
    Cheers Fred.

Ok, had a good look at Braside park today & I think our best bet would be #7carpark (Kookaburra carpark).
It seems closest to BBQ's, shelter & torrrlets.
There seems to be reasonble benches & tables, but u may want to bring your own chairs?
BBQ's were the standard electric jobbies. Good enough 4 snags, burgers, rissoles etc, but I dont think they get hot enough 4 quality cuts of steak.
I learnt this a few years back.
Not sure we had that much interest in the rig suggestion??????
7 day forecast looks great, hope it can hang out 1 more.
    See ya Saturday week
    Cheers Fred.
