cant say i have
i got a cordless hedge trimmer, a good one, and it only lasts 50 minutes, which is usually 10 minutes short of the end of the job lol
its underpowered, slow, and a pita really.
since i got the shindy artic hedger, i havent used the little battery one.
if the pruners anything like that, forget about it and "buy a real tool" as they say
No experience with one sorry Premier
For what that Bosch would be worth you could have a couple of nice Silky saws(or Barnel's) in different sizes and be set. The Silky's cut like a hot knife through butter.

Premier, I'd like to see one in action but Im sceptical.
Like Courty said, a good saw & a powerful set of loppers will do the job.
Im always interested in strong pruning tools.
What did u have in mind for this tool?
What type of pruning do u do?
Cheers Fred.
Looks like it's set so you can hook it on the branch and then go inside and have a cuppa and come back and it's done. lol
I do like my bosch cordless drill and jigsaw though.
The Pruner retails at about $180.00.
Fred...I'm looking at general pruning, whilst I have a good set of loppers and a saw sometimes when working in confined spaces or up a ladder neither are ideal.
I saw this as an option for these times...it comes with a couple of blades and according to the specs it can cut up to 80mm.

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
