What a classic.......... Some of the old guys are very quick witted .
When I was a young fella servicing fire extingishers in a high rise appartment, I was working my way down working door to door with along with another guy, and I was unsure if my workmate had been in this one appartment already, so I stuck my head in to this old ladys appartment and shouted "high,...have you been done yet"? and quick as a flash she barked back,.."No,....havn't been done in years,....so your quite welcome to......" Ran away with my tail between my legs very fast.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather.....not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car!!!
Good one Stump.
Look at this poor old 216D. The 'repair' made me laugh!

Ok . bear with me on this it might take a while but last night about 2.30am according to my wife I was laughing and moving about while I was asleep which woke her up. All of a sudden I sat upright with my arms stretched out and yell at the top of my voice ,,,,WHATS UPPPPPPPPPP. Scared the bejesus out of her and she said what are you doing? I said "scaring the ****e out of someone." Then I started laughing and went back to sleep.
Just told the kids what happened. My son was just about to fall on the ground laughing and my daughter was rolling around laughing uncontrollable.
Mrs cranbourne is not impressed and I cant stop laughing.

the client (now ex), who hadnt paid for a while, and I had left messages, and finally sent out the debt collection threat. the Money finally came into my account yesterday. Last night at 10.30 I get a desperate call from him, can you come and mow my lawn in the morning I have important guests coming tomorrow. You could most probably hear me laugh some streets away, he couldnt see the funny side. I could as he wasnt getting his lawn done no matter what price he offered me.
Makes me laugh?
Customers who had some guy do the work for $35, and he suddenly disappears. The work is minimum $65 owing to serious site access issues and some other troubles.
Gee, I wonder why the previous service provider won't take their calls? And I wonder why the person asking for a quote can't get anyone to accept the previous supplier's price.
Hmmm.

Told one of under-priced inherited (from when I bought the business) jobs about 6 weeks ago, her price was going up before Christmas (from $35 to $40)....and she was fine with it. Reminded her today that next mow would be $40.....her face fell and she jokingly threatened to mow it herself.....I wish she would, she's one of the PITAs I would happily drop. Feeling of satisfaction as I walked off.....
