Running is fine, but the blades were engaged when he got off, inthis day and age most mowers will shut themselves down if you get off the seat with the blades engaged.

Since I had this machine it's been busting deck belts. Always used OEM aramid belts but some wouldn't last 20 hours.

Anyway, the belt on it now has gone over 100 hours. I knew it was getting a bit ratty, but when I looked this morning, I saw it nearly cracked through.
Didn't have time to change it so thought I'd run it until it broke and replace it on the job.

Well I did 2 acres of really tough mowing this morning & it still looks the same. Might get another 100 hours out of it

my victa mulchmaster is the same - put cheap belts on and after a few lawns they're cracked like yours but go for another 6 months

I've had a problem with my Mulchmaster the last couple of days, where the self drive isn't always disengaging when I release the bale.
Was mowing a front lawn yesterday and my phone rang. Let the mower go to check the phone and looked up just in time to see the mower heading for the neighbours new turf.
Caught up with it just in time.

I went into the rural supplies yesterday morning to buy 5 litres of KambaM. Couldn't find it, so the salesman said I'll see if any out back.
As I was waiting, 2 other lawnies arrived and made a B-line to the weed poison stand.
My salesman came back with a carton and 3 containers sold in a minute.

It wasn't Kamba actually, but same actives. $102 for 5 litres I thought was cheaper than I usually pay for Kamba.
