Here its 7am, but I like to leave it until at least 7.30am,

The only thing I could find on the council website was the following
Residential properties (excluding high rises)
Power tools, gardening equipment, ducted vacuuming systems and generators may be operated:
7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday (no audible noise permitted outside these hours)
8am to 7pm Sundays and public holidays (no audible noised permitted outside these hours)

thanks guys. hey glen i found the same info but wasn't sure.You know what people are like on Sundays.Even though its on acreage could get some people upset even at 8 am.
That would be nice, l mow schools on sunday and not allowed to start untill 10am (half the day almost gone). In Tassie

Regulated devices
Noise limits apply to the use of these regulated devices:
compressors or generators
ducted vacuuming systems
grass-cutters (lawn mowers, edge cutters)
impacting tools (hammers, nail guns)
leaf-blowers or mulchers
oxyacetylene burners
electrical, mechanical or pneumatic power tools (chainsaws, drills, sanders)
Note: These provisions do not apply to builders or building contractors working on a building site. There are special noise limits for building work.
Noise limits
If noise can be heard at residential premises at the following times, the person making the noise may be issued with a fine.
Time Day Noise limit
7pm to 7am
Monday to Saturday
No clearly audible noise allowed
7pm to 8am
Sunday or public holiday
No clearly audible noise allowed
In some circumstances, activities and equipment operating within the prescribed levels and times may still be deemed a nuisance when assessed against certain noise criteria.* In this situation the responsible person may be issued a Direction Notice.
