Just upgraded from my old pentax(that barely got used anymore) to a canon 70D. Should have done it a while ago.
It's much better for what I shoot now and has sparked the interest again for general photography.

using a bit of lightroom post production but mainly shot as is..obviously the chair has its colour photoshop...my puffin billy pic has been submitted to the puffin billy mob to use in their publications ..got the thumbs up on that one lol...

yep springvale crematorium ,,, soldiers remembrance father in law has name on the wall...great place to reflect...love photography sold a couple of pics but i enjoy more for pleasure than money...doing a diploma at the moment so learning so much...from point and shoot to making a shot is miles apart add to the post production theres so frigging much to learn..but old fckers like me need it to keep going lol

so tomorrow night is huge we hope the SUPERMOON ...trying to look at the best location beach or mountains.....getting the right shot is the key .photoshop will be the key..
any advice on taking the moon
just get away from light pollution and use a tripod (and external shutter release or delay)

Just google 'photographing super moon' - plenty of answers there. Pretty basic stuff, just depends on what gear you have. Wish I had a big zoom lens for times like this, but very hard to justify the outlay (at least $2500)
You'll need a back pack blower to part the clouds first by the looks of it.
