    Nice shot Bruce!!!!!! And nothing wrong with many of the point and shoots these days, packed full of features, just got to know how to get the most out of them.

    nice..ive had the 70d for awhile now and love it...great wifi hooked up to the iPhone is a bonus for the long shutter shots..enjoy mate these cameras are more than entry ..if you haven't already get some lenses i recently got a 50mm 1.2 and takes amazing portraits ..

    IMG_1394.jpgGeoff I bought the 50mm 1.8 its a nice little lens, not as good as the 1.2 though.
    Heres a pic with the 135 usm, not great , Im still learning

    still a good little lense ..try using it for portraits make the subject pop with the background blur...in manual mode u can get some great shots..roses come up treat

    also with getting the apature to even 1.8 u can get terrific shutter speed to freeze stuff ..lol so much to learn i am just scrapping the surface

    I picked up the 70D just over 12mnths ago. Great bit of gear after my old Pentax km.
    I also got the 50mm 1.8 as the 1.2 was just a bit exxy for me.
    Lashed out and rented a 70 - 200 over Easter for the Bendigo festival, the young bloke does lion dancing, whole reason I purchased.

    I'll throw some photos up next week.

    good stuff hey the 1.8 is a great lens ...you will love the 70d we get heaps of enjoyment..there is mob called canvas prints online free delivery and you can get your best shots on canvas....we have heaps in the new house ..make sure you get lightroom to get the best out of the pics..

    Our son has a DJI Mavic Pro and they are awesome. Best value for dollar drone out there apparently.
