This is what I woke up to on Friday morning - local show holiday. Took the photo from our bedroom window (highset house) and the house in the foreground is highset as well to give you an idea of the height!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully there was no mishaps. The lengths people go to, to save a few bucks. The lad in the photo is not involved in our industry by the way.

It was Troppo on the ladder and his mum took the picture
How did the story end?
He does however, have his safety boots on and high visibility shirt happening, not sure about the hearing protection and safety goggles though?

I go by the name troppo, not crazeeee, as this lad is. And here is the answer to your question LGGF. Took the photo with a Canon 7D 17-55 EFS lens and have posted full res photos if you want to zoom in. My wife says there was no blood and guts - I had to go do a few jobs.2014_07_18_1802.jpg
Just heard of a guy here in Adelaide trimming something had council called to investigate the job which turned out to be allowable, the ranger called Safe Work SA to have a look as he didn't like what he'd seen.
When the Safe Work SA inspector turns up he sees a helper left behind cleaning up and is told the owner has gone to the tip and will be back soon.
During that time the Safe Work SA inspector starts asking questions obvious the helper had no safety training or work wear for the job.It may have included pay rates and super, still trying to find out more on this.
The owner returns and gets quizzed and he too has no correct footwear clothing or safety set up area,in other words he goes thru everything safety related.
They slapped him with a fine.
What fine amount ($) do you think he got slapped with ?
3000 dollars?..................
$50 thousand ???
Everything looks good with a haircut.... ɐuıɥɔ ɯoɹɟ pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐl ǝɥʇ sʇɐɥʇ
His fine totaled $20,000 hoping to find out more in the coming weeks
Ok, payed Dean today for the ready made package to assist towards protecting the business and enhance the safety of me and the public. Forgot about the $$'s spent already, just glad I'm not procrastinating anymore.
A bobcat worker in our town had a workplace accident earlier on Tuesday in town and passed away leaving a family without a Dad. So very sad for all concerned. Worksafe are in their numbers at the factory via local media pictures/reports.
Cheers Garry
