You're both spot on - Honda isn't worth the effort, and god knows we've applied more than a fair share of effort to straighten them out.
Dylan may have taken my advice and got a job in a company that doesn't use him as a human shield - why would you stick with Honda?

Honda Australia's future lies beside victa and McCulloch at Bunnings / Kmart.

I think we may as well call this whole subject and thread DEAD. - No point trying to reason with a brick wall. - a thick one at that.

    BYE !
    Hi Arfa,

you forget about Toro. You can find it in bunnings as well now

Toro have a domestic range that is sold at bunnings, and a commercial range that is sold only in dealerships.

Honda sell domestic quality mowers in dealerships! lol

Yeah, but they charge commercial quality prices for them !
    "Can't" is a dirty 4 letter word.
If someone says "Can't" , take the "T" off the end and brew it.
Sip on a mugfull, relax, and take a look at what you've got left to work with.

Loving my hru216M1 in all this long moist grass around here. The catcher fills up so much it's hard to empty sometimes. For those who think they can't catch the long juicy stuff, maybe it's the operator :-)

Ive now got a new attachment on my Honda 216... Its a stick attached to a bit of string. Its used to remove the grass from the catcher when it clogs up.... why didnt Honda think of that

Must be a REALLY good name - they've done nothing else since March (5x months).

Don't worry - with the recent rains the grass will start to grow again, and Honda will want to sell more mowers, which means they want our cash.

So be on your guard -
When they want our cash, the rediculous "improvements" and unfulfilled "promises" start to pour out like a dodgy indian curry.

With enough wisdom and background as a grassie, it's rather entertaining to watch.
For everyone else - just keep the earplugs in when listening to the latest sales spin/poor "human shield" sales rep. - (RIP Dylan, I hope you've found a better life with your wife and new child.)

Picked up the latest Honda catalogue today. Anyone else got it? HRX217HYU, plus a few of the other USA model mowers, now being sold through the dealers.
