    Default 12v sprayers

I need to look for a sprayer I can attach to the front of my ztr's.
Does anyone else do this and what size do you use.
What should I be looking for in psi and flow rates? What is a reasonable quality pump and tank manufacturer.
This 1 property has about 600 mtrs of fenceline and probably 5 mtrs deep that needs covering. Most other properties will only need a couple mtrs along fencelines.

John, I would suggest that you attach it to the rear of mower as if any breeze the operator will wear it. I looked at getting a Silvan tank unit of 100 litres with a Surflo pump 60psi $399.00 plus a 2 metre boom $199.00 that way I could change fittings and use either the boom or the wand. I decided that the tank was going to be to hard to mount above the motor. I use a small trailer with the Silvan 100 litre tank with 2mtr boom and spray wand. I have clients yards to spray plus I use it to spray Olive groves and other large areas. Does a great job, had a towbar made for Hustler, but have found the Cox easier to use with the wand as trying to steer Hustler with one hand can be a bit difficult.
You could make up a mounting frame for the tank to mount on the front and run a hose to the rear and mount the boom on the back of mower. The Silvan boom just clips into two moulded mounts that you can just pull the boom out of them, unattach the hose and tank frame and you would be back to normal. Leave the moulded clips on the rear so you can use it when you want. You can get 20 litre spray units from Silvan, or try Rapidspray.

I really dont want to tow with some of the areas I am doing. Just gotta make sure the breeze is blowing the right way Only wanting a 40-60 litre tank, will fill up again if it not big enough for the jobs.

    Will take a look, thanks.

John, I has just fitted up a 35 litre tank on the rear of my Scag ZTR, up high over the engine close to the safety frame to keep the weight forward.

Set up so it can be put on and off in a couple of minutes, currently set up with hand gun only, I have a two metre boom as well but have not made the mounts for it yet.

First test on the weekend, will post photos then.

    Cheers
