i use
Honda 197's i have a 196 to heavy sits in the shed also have a proscape 20" if i buy another mower it will probably be a rover 560 but unfortunately this will mean redoing my whole setup which i might add i will have to do if the 197's break and i can't fix them because even the new 197's won't fit my current setup(to long)
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Dont use a PUSH mower. TOO much work.
Honda sp ... happy to change if it had a shaft drive.
Dixon ztr...great mower. Looking to add a walker ztr to my collection this year.

1/ Honda 196 and Honda 194
2/ These are the only push mowers I've had in my 8 years of operation
3/ No idea - unlikely to need a new push mower in the next 5 years

Honda SP & Honda push.
Very happy with Honda, most likely will update with them but cant say for sure, things change.

1) Rover Procut 560SP
2) New mowers I have bought have all been Rovers, they have always seemed good value
3) Don't know, have used Hondas before & liked the feel of them, but it hurts too much when I actually have to open the wallet on purchase day.
