Default Painted/Spray-on coatings for trailers etc

Has anyone had any experience with coatings for trailers/ute trays etc?

Been thinking for a while of coating my trailer floor to get some more life out of it while I save for a new trailer.

Using something like Rhino Liner or Hyperseal.

Wondering if it would interfere with sliding stuff out of the trailer or when using shovels to scoop out mulch etc?

I use a product called Galmet, thick black stuff and dries hard, (borrowed it from work), its on the "Blackwoods or Bakers" supplies range.

Not exactly, but i reckon 2 coates of these would be ok, touch up now and then, i currently work in a waste water (sewer plant) and it holds its own ok. But with friction and rubbish removal i would think you'de need to touch up sometimes, even with galvanizing it can be eroded with heavy scraping etc,

have a look at POR15, I did the chassis of my ute with it - not cheap tho! It gives a very hard, smooth finish. I was going to overcoat my new trailer with it, but would have cost too much, you'd only need a litre for 2-3 coats of the tray prolly http://ppcco.com.au/prevention.htm
edit - I used dulux metalshield, $80 for 4 lt, 2 coats of the whole trailer and still 2 lt left
