    Default Hot Work Permit

    Did a commercial quote the other day and was told a site induction and while working I would need a "hot work permit".
    Whats this world coming to??

    HWP's refer to using oxy acetline, grinding,welding, usually outside of a workshop, some days a total fire ban means you wont be able to aquire one from or on that job.

    Why would you need a Hot Work Permit for gardening and mowing? So sick of bureaucracy creating costs and justifications for useless made up jobs.

    I was talking to a guy that mows petrol stations and he had to have that but thats pertrol station on spark boom....
    But if you aint ''STIHL'' you aint real....
