Default Insects. The good, the bad and the ugly.

I'm constantly seeing insects, spiders and birds ive never seen before. Thought i might start posting some of them. Loves me creepy crawlies. Please post your pics of the little guys you see out on your travels.

Found this little guy drowning in some water this morning. He has a head like an ant and a body like a european wasp.

Wasn't sure whether to save it or not. Loves me creepies, yes, but not shy to kill them if they are a pest like lawn grubs. Spent an hour searching what it was on the net when i should have been working and making money so i can have the internet on! Couldnt find it so i asked an entomologist. I was secretly hoping no one had ever seen one before so i could blahdeeblah raewynii or wasporama or something. But alas, it was known.
Anyone seen it or know it? Ill post the name later on. Going all quizzy on you.
    Rae.
